Special cable for rail traffic
DYWL-RYY halogen free low smoke flame retardant copper core polyolefin insulated sheathed flexible cable
  • Product overview
  • Technical specifications
  • Installation instructions
Product uses:
Low smoke halogen-free wire and cable produce a very small amount of smoke in the case of flame combustion, and the released gas does not contain halogen elements. When the fire occurs, it can greatly reduce the harm to instruments, equipment and human body. It can be widely used in airports, railways, buildings, hospitals, libraries, gymnasiums, stations, underground shopping malls, or densely populated public places, etc.
Product usage characteristics:
1. AC rated voltage: U0/U450/750V, (AC polyolefin 600/1000V)
2. Higher working temperature: PVC (polyethylene) insulation not exceeding 70 C cross-linked polyethylene insulation 90 C low smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin 70 C low smoke halogen-free flame retardant crosslinked polyolefin 90 C and 125 C two kinds
3. lower ambient temperature: PVC sheath: fixed at -40 C, fixed at -15 C.
4. the installation temperature of the cable should not be less than 0 C.
5. Permissible bending radius of cables: 6 times the outer diameter of non-armoured cables with copper shielding or 12 times the outer diameter of cables with steel armoured cables

Product characteristics:
Low smoke halogen-free cables refer to environmentally friendly cables that do not emit toxic fumes (e.g. hydrogen halide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, etc.) when burned with compounds containing no halogen (F, Cl, Br, I, At), lead, cadmium, chrome and mercury, etc.).
The halogen pointer is: all halogen values are less than 50PPM (according to regulation PREN14582).
The content of hydrogen halide gas after combustion is <100PPM (according to regulation EN5067-2-1).
The hydrogen peroxide gas after combustion is dissolved in water and its pH value is more than 4.3 (weak acid) (according to regulation EN-50267-2-2).
The transmittance of the product in a closed container after passing through a beam of light is greater than 60% (according to regulation EN-50268-2).
Pb<90PPM, Cd, Cr6, Hg, PBBs and PBDEs are all less than 5PPM
The main features of low smoke halogen free cables are:
(1) Tensile strength is higher than that of ordinary PVC wires: tensile strength of ordinary PVC wires is greater than 1.05Kgf/mm2, while tensile strength of low smoke halogen-free wires is greater than 1.2Kgf/mm2;
(2) good weather resistance (-30 C ~105 C);
(3) good softness (hardness 80 - 90);
(4) it is non migratory (because there is no plasticizer in the product formula, so it will not be moved).
(5) no toxic black smoke will be produced during combustion.
(6) High volume resistivity: PVC wires are generally 1012-1015_/cm 3, low smoke halogen-free wires are greater than 1016_/cm 3;
(7) Excellent high voltage resistance: PVC wires generally withstand more than 10 KV, while low smoke halogen-free wires up to 15 KV;
(8) good elasticity and stickiness.
