Changsha Metro Line 2 Extension Line
Introduction:
Changsha Metro Line 2 [Line2/Ice Blue Line], the plan starts from the Jinqiao Transportation Hub in Wangcheng District to the Guangda Station of the Huangdong Group in the east of the city. It has a total length of 42.1 kilometers and a total of 38 stations, including 13 transfers with the subway and 3 interchanges with the city rail. At present, the first phase of the line and the first phase of the West Extension (Meixi West Station---Guangda Station) have been opened. Changsha Metro Line 2 is the east-west core line of the Changsha Metro network, and Changsha is the first subway project to start construction. The line starts from the west end of Meixihu West Station, along the main trunk roads such as Fenglin Road and Wuyi Road, via Yuelu District, Tianxin District, Furong District, Yuhua District, Changsha County, and the eastern section is finally Guangda Station. The second phase of the West Extension of Changsha Metro Line 2 is from Jinqiao Station to Meixihu West Station. The line is 14.72 kilometers long and has 11 stations with an investment of 9.513 billion yuan. The planned construction period is 2017-2021.

Changsha Metro Line 1
Introduction:
Changsha Metro Line 1 [Line1/Red Line], planned from Changsha Xiangjiang Navigation and Hydropower Hub to Shangshangtang Station of Jinyun Street, with a total length of 39.5 kilometers, a total of 28 stations are planned, of which 8 are interchanged with the subway. Station and 2 transfer stations with the intercity railway. At present, the first phase of the line (Kaifu government station - Shang Shuangtang Station) has been opened for operation. Changsha Metro Line 1 is the core line of the north-south direction of Changsha Rail Transit. It forms a subway with the Metro Line 2 Wuyi Square Station. “Cross”, Changsha officially ushered in the era of subway interchange. At the same time, the intersection of Line 1 and Line 2 realized the rapid transfer with railway, highway, aviation and urban railway, and connected the core business districts such as Wujialing, Wuyi Square, Dongtang and Changzhutan.
